Things have moved on, thankfully, Gareth. You can now just upload the file directly.

If you're new to Minis, be sure to have the car checked out as there are a lot of Minis out there with incorrect log books to make them appear older to dodge VRT, NCT, tax etc. An accident with a falsely registered Mini will void any insurance, no matter how cheap you got it. Also, every Mini rusts ...

I think a nice Mk3 early 70's Mini looks great. Take Eamospud's '72 850, a super little car that has had twin carbs and a bigger exhaust fitted and it goes like stink. Nothing that can't be put back to standard if required.

Each to their own I know but 6222 ZC is definitely a ringer.

Whats the opinion on this one?

6222ZC was probably scrapped a long time ago. The rear seat belt fittings are definitely from a much newer car.

All Mpi's suffered diff problems. One of mine blew itself and the diff housing apart years ago. Fitting a 4-pin diff is a must.

U have to up the fuel pressure did u do that. U can't put a bigger head on it will lean it out without more fuel. High pressure boost mini sport do them. Dylan8660 in Drogheda has done a lot of development work on Mpi's. I bought a ported head for my Mpi some years ago from him. He experimented with different throttle bodies etc.

Second that.

Grand relaxed weekend, great facilities, and loads of cuppas to be scrounged.

Most of us could possibly be diagnosed with Campers Lung after Friday night but worth it to list to DJ Maloney's tunes (not).

Last year's decision by photobucket to charge users to post their images has now been reversed. Check your old posts on this forum. The photos are live again. Great news particularly for those of us who have created build threads in the Projects section. https://www.bizjournals.com/denver/news/2018/...

Hi Martin,

Do we have to individually contact the organisers with our space requirements or is it covered by the club feedback? I got the questionnaire by e-mail.

So in the interest of attracting new members, will all club events be always posted on the main IMOC facebook page and not just in the members only group?

What's the purpose of this new page? Will there be club-related information published there that paid-up club members who don't have Facebook won't be informed about?

Found this on the RTE website today.

I'm assuming it would apply to how members' data is held and distributed within the club?

As Eamonn Murphy pointed out to me this morning, this build thread was never really finished off so to bring the past seven years to a conclusion, here's some photos which show the finished project. Welcome to the IMOC forum Marty. It's always good to hear of a new project and the great thing about this forum is that it creates a permanent log of your progress. The '97 Jap engine was the pre-'96 Spi (single-point injection) engine not the European-spec Mpi (Multi-point injection) as the aircon ...
