Our MPG will be somewhat less.......... Took us 3 full tanks to get to lunch stop until finding the fault that was causing major overfueling and got 2nd half of run on one fill......

I was gonna build one a few years back and did a lot of looking around and research and the best idea i was given and saw was ditch the sub frame and use a nice set of coil overs from a motorbike. They are designed for less weight so suit a half mini very well and make it great to tow.

Fitted a set of wheel studs at the side of a very busy Donegal road very early in the morning to Mick Glennons mini clubman back at MTM and due to only having a short supply of wheel studs he completed the rest of mtm and home again on 3 wheel studs.

"Stud" The 95 BRG mini that my bro in law mark Halford drives but more know as Stan o' Tooles old mini is in Irish Vintage Scene this month. (june copy)

Both Glennons finished despite Micks attempts to kill his mini firstly 4 miles short of breakfast stop shearing 3 wheel studs which we fixed at side of road. Then got to lunch stop and filled his clubby with Diesel. (wishfull thinking i guess). Only car not finished under its own power was a Hornet ...

Saw This mini yesterday and met Niamh. Mini is very nice. And i'm sure to see a lot more of them both as Niamh works somewhere i visit regularly.... :-)

So we are now into 2012. What were your most memorable Mini moments of 2011. For me I guess it has got to be MTM. In particular The 26minute head gasket change on Ian Graham's mini. And then in buncrana that night- Macker, Mick Glennon and myself somehow ended up outside an establishment in the town...

Passed a house In Clonshaugh the other week that had i think 4 minis outside. A blue clubby estate with allycats on it i think then i think one of them was a tahitti special. But i'm not fully sure was a week ago and memory is bad....
