Hi Oil presure is good John It means your engine is healty, the oil coming out of the breather is only a sign of engine breathing what you are best off doing is get rid of the K&N filter and fitting a catch tank, Big bore engine such as yours bread due to the extra compression its not a problam,...

What make of rods where they bert ?

Just had a little dig in stores I have a thick flange 1275 A block at +60 yours If you need it :) also If your stuck for 3 bolt A+ gearbox casting I have a couple on the shelf fully striped.

I would Aim to get there as early as possible If I was you as talking to jenny today and she said that there is over 160 minis booked to arive as well as over 600 classic cars thats 700 odd cars in Mondello It is going to fill very Quick :wink:

Tim didnt you just put a big 1380 in your mini latle if so you can expect quite a bit of this kind of stuf the big motors have a handy nack of finding weak components, It sounds very much like a wheel bearing there cheep as chips but a pain in the but to replace

the other posblity is to hele coil it you can get the kit in most motorfactor the kit contains a drill bit and a hele coil and a tap you simple dril the stud with the drill them tap the hole with the provided tap then bobs your uncal.
