Magic I think I have the Tolerances figured out I bothered to get of my ass and pull out the BMC manuals out of the attic but still interested to hear anyone’s experiences with head/block skimming and how far people have gone.

Personally I think there assume,
But I love anything Austin it would be a terrible shame tho to take that car apart just for its engine you could get a 1300 a serious pretty handy if your looking lovely car keep me up dated on your plans for this I would be very interested.

Just be careful David it is possible to damage the alt main bearing. ya some where between 450 english pounds and 500 but i have KAD 7.59 vented disc on the front and allredy have the KAD shoes on the back anyway will do some more research.

my kinda dream is to have one mini complete custom and one mini complete orignal.

i am working on my 72 1000auto that i baught from the guys in NI mins she is blue and rusty but should have her ready for that. im also working on a custom mark 3 with a fully mod 1300 a with a coustom twin, twin weber cab job. ill post in this topic when i get more ideas hee.

That is a great idea billy pbulisity like that we cant turn down i have a up and comming project after christmas a 1972 mark 3 which is geting a ground up resteration might document it and send it to them. well done great news
