Guys car got burnt in a fire few years ago.. Just finished patching her war wounds but I've no horn or washer jets on wipers.. But wipers work... What fuse supplies washer and horn and what colour are wires supplying each... Also I've a bad knock when changing gears I changed bushes on front bar from gearbox to from panel and from engine at coil to bulkhead.. I've been told there's one under rad.. Also my front subframe isn't bolted to the body panel at front should it be... There are bolts in the subframe which you can see thru front panel.. Should there be a bush with a large washer on outside of front panel to bolt thru into subframe... If anyone has a pic be really useful thanks guys

The front subframe mounting depends on the year of Mini. I think the change over is 1976, pre '76 is a bolt directly from the subframe to the front panel ,post '76 is connected via the teardrop subframe mount. When the teardrop splits it looks like a large washer so I think you need new front subframe mounts.
The horn and washer operate from different fuses so you appear to have two problems.Again I would need the year and model of car to give a full reply but the first thing I would check is that both the horn and washer motor are working directly from a battery.

Thanks for the reply its 1981...yea was sure it was always like that then guy said should be bolted to front.. must be the one under rad must get a good look round it now then... I had a problem with headlights only one dip and only one high beam.. but on opposite sides.. so it was a loose connection... thats why i asked about coloured wires so i could check connections.. as i believe ive all burnt wiring repaired.. but just wanted to check them.. ill have to open cowell on steering wheel and trace the wires..thanks
