hi lads.
just wondering what the symptoms of a stepper motor giving problems are???? i have a 95 sprite spi and notice that it takes ages to settle down to a nice idle after driving.....if i put my foot under the acc pedal and pull it up it seems to idle slower..and when driving, changing gear it stays at the higher revs. any ideas?

thanks

I could well be a stepper motor Tony they give a lot of problems on SPI's it could also be a faulty Throttle position sensor, or it could be as simple as a failing return spring !

If you want to take a spin up to My garrage I could run a Diagnostic check for you and reset the Idel steper motor,
Where open untill 7:30PM monday to Friday

Best Regards,
Paul
