Whats your location?: THE FRIDGE I TOLD YE!!
Region: Aboard
What Minis have you?: 110bhp 1968 mkII
Modifications: no more custom flakey paint, now new custom crevice paintwork
Location: The Fridge
just undo the strap that holds the tank in place and wiggle it over out of the way from the bottom, the filler neck should come back in through the hole, you don't need to move it much though,
you should be able to reach the nuts then to undo the lamp

i wouldn't advise using silicone anywhere near a painted surface, especially on minis since they are prone to tin worm,
why were you going to use it or the tape anyway?

i had just got it back from workshop and the guy who sprayed it had taken out lights and had a sort of double sided foam tape inside the light unit itself but it let bthe water in so hence having to change it, i thought it needed to be there so was thinking silicone rather than the tape, its not touching body its the seal from the lens to unit, sorry bout the confusion, thanks again.

Somerford ship on the day if you order before noon, 3 days post to Ireland is about the norm.
