Ok i posted here a cupple of days go about a spedo cable problam, well took it out to day and gues what not the problam.
I Need HELP, the problam is this when the car is moving i here a sound like that of a spedo cable breaking up, But when i clutch and cost the noise is still there but the car jumps like some ting is binding up. i have been racking my brains and the only cause i can tink of could be the role pin that holds the sun gear in place. but get this if i jack the car up and let it back down the noise goes away but after about 20 miles its back bad as ever Any one any ideas ??
Paul,

Sounds like a differential pin problem or possable main gearbox bearing. Get it cheaked very soon or could distroy engine if it lets go.

Try jacking one of the front wheels up in the air, then with the car in gear turn the wheel by hand and listen for any noise.

Pulling the engine should only be a last resort.

Best of luck.

What I meant is, make sure it is the diff pin before you pull the engine. :)
