it sounds completely over the top to me aswell

im awaiting a reply from the insurance agent that is handling the case to find out exactly what is wrong with the car

the garage wouldnt go into specifics

What Minis have you?: Mk1 Austin Mini,Mk3 Layland Mini,72Van,81 Clubman Estate, 87 Race carand a 2000 Rover Cooper.
Modifications: Mk1: 998 with flat top slipper pistons, 286 cam, 12G940 head 11:1 compression twin inch and a half SU's 5 speed gearbox. Mk3 998 automatic no mods, 72Van is a pile of rust, , Racer is being built but has the works and the 2000 rover cooper needs an engine again :(

Don't forget Buddy Its with in your rights to have the damage independently assessed before a right off can be made

good news!!!

a price has been agreed between the insurance agency and the garage and the repair is going ahead!!

i also have a solicitor on board and he is pursuing the council for payment of repirs, he is very confident it will be covered by them!!

asked the garage for a quote on getting my doors reskined while theyre at it

:)

im delighted!!

Has it caused any bodywork damage? As in has the wheel gone back and caused damage to a panel or wing etc???

Will look out for you so. Haven't done anything with it in the last few weeks with the weather but its not far off being on the road. As long as i have it done for MTM i don't really mind

so i finally picked her up last night

work is doe, everything is sweet...

except....

the boot looks like it was reversed into, the garage have photos (which i have seen with dates on them) to prove it didnt happen while it was with them, the towing company are completely denying it, so looks like i have to sort it out myself...

anyone know any panel beaters?? i have a small dent on the driver side rear quarter panel that i wanna get done at the same time

i think im officially the unluckiest mini owner in ireland

but i still love her!!!
