Ditch the Spi and run ITBs and a canems or megasquirt ECU.

How would the throttle bodies fair when NCT time comes around though ??

http://www.canems.co.uk/casestudy/mpimini.php , Cant Imagine it being too big a issue, the emissions limits for spi are still quite generous. ITB give a better response as they tend to have a small diameter than one big TB.
